Camp 168

Up in good season and started back….Tried a cutoff at the last part which proved as usual much the longer. Saw several deer and just at evening Dick shot one, a fine one, much to our relief, for we were reduced to jerked bear and beans. We got a late supper of fresh deer liver and resolved to stay over Sunday here.
